I study learning algorithms in the presence of strategic agents, users’ interactions with algorithms, and recommendation systems as mechanism design. At Penn I am fortunate to be advised by Dr. Danaë Metaxa. I also work closely with Dr. Chara Podimata at MIT. Prior to being in a CS department, I received a B.A. from UC Berkeley where I studied statistics and economics and then worked on economics research with Dr. Anna Costello at UChicago.
I’m currently working on:
- Activist agents and collaboration in strategic classification settings
- Theoretical modeling of strategic agent behavior in recommender systems
- Users’ exploration and understanding of machine learning models used on social networks
Feel free to reach out if we share interests in econxCS, HCI, and/or opossums!!
